A two-day training course focusing on the safe handling of lithium batteries

We have just concluded an intensive two-day training course focusing on the safe handling of lithium batteries.

Over three sessions this spring, we have taken a deep dive into everything from fire risks and complex regulations to how we concretely implement safe solutions for transport and storage.

Some of the items on our agenda included:

• Regulations & Standards: We navigated through transport and battery regulations, ADR, IMDG, and the EU regulation, among other things.

• Safety Systems in Practice: A review of the FirePro system's fire suppression functions and how we best design safety cabinets and containers for various applications.

• Packaging Solutions: How we calculate and design using the ClimSel system to maximize safety during transport and storage.

• Product Overview: Training on the different packaging and storage solutions that LiProPac offers.
